Fiat punto 1.2 starts then stalls

Hi hope someone can help fiat punto 1.2 starts with no problems it runs for about a minute and when reved it just goes dead and stalls turn ignition of restart and runs again for a minute can keep repeating this has anyone any idea why it will only run for one minute before going flat and stalling
