Talk to me! Getting involved in the horsey hunting "scene" and need something for my port tongue out. Anyone have any idea on hip flasks? I don't want to go mad as it may not get used often so thinking £50-70 range.

Kidney shaped pewter flask that fits in your pocket should be fine smile
This time of year more likely to have sloe gin in it.

Aspinal do some nice ones.

They often have a sale on - I got an engraved one in dark green leather for £20 a couple of years back and it's great quality.

Thanks all. I'd seen Aspinal before but didn't know of the quality. Will give them a whirl I think.

One of those double flasks is definitely on the wish list. Thanks for the headsup

I've just been given an Aspinal one, what's the best way of sterilising it? It's apparently new & un-used but not in a box or anything so I want to know it's clean before using it!

Hot, not boiling water coupe of drops of Fairy Liquid. Half fill it. Shake vigorously, empty, rinse several times. Leave upside down to air dry.

I'll suggest adding some whisky or vodka to the flask - give it a good shake, and empty.
