What's the story line?
James Keziah Delaney returns to 1814 London after 10 years in Africa to discover that he has been left a mysterious legacy by his father. Driven to wage war on those who have wronged him, Delaney finds himself in a face-off against the East India Company, whilst playing a dangerous game between two warring nations, Britain and America.surveyor said:
Very board of historical drama's now. Can't some production company produce an up to date drama and get it on terrestrial tv.
I agree. I would have prefered 1970s / 1980s dramas like ashes to ashes and the BBC latched onto this with the massive populaty of it...But there you go they seem to think everyone likes dancing, singing and cooking crap.BUT saying that I really enjoyed Taboo and am really looking forward to later episodes. The corseness of it was a real fresh change from Jane Austen dribble.
Amazed that the N word wasn't picked up and had millions of Twitter complaints as seems to be the 21st centery way of things.
