Rollbar for the 280i

Afternoon all.

I'm looking to purchase a behind the seat rollbar for my 280i, wondering if any of you have one your selling or know of anywhere to purchase one ?
I have been told about a company called Rollcentre.. any other places spring to mind to send an enquiry?

Don't think Rollcentre are making any more rollbars as they are concentrating on racing, I have one of thiers fitted in the Gredge and I am in two minds about taking it out or leaving it in

As far as i know martin is still making rollbars and cages

Got one from rollcentre less than half a year ago for the 350i, will only use it only for trackdays.
It was mentioned that delivery could take a bit of time due to racing, but that was all.

Spoke to Martin Short and he has sold the roll bar side of the business and an announcement will follow shortly

Will do see photo of the Gredge as it is known because it has a Griff 500 engine in and you can see roll bar

Always thought roll bars were only for track? And could be dangerous for the road if you banged your head?

Only if you are over 6'5"!

Exactly and that is my concern, ok on track with full harness and helmet, my biggest worry is a rear ender which would shunt the car forward and cause your head to go back at quite a rate, I have tried different seat positions but still my head can hit the roll bar and no it's not because I have a big head but I am tall, I am going to see how it goes but it is niggling me
