Halfords Socket sets

Generally well thought off.

Just noticed that they are 1/2 price on Halfords ebay shop...

Didn't know they had an ebay shop! I guess it must be worth their while despite the fees.

They're good socket sets, although the ratchets could do with more clicks for tight spots.

They are 1/2 price in the shops also. Although they seem to be discounted for at least 6 months a year

worth noting that with a trade card they are generally cheaper still...

Not always. When I bought mine it was cheaper to go with the offer than with my trade card. Not by much mind you. I find they are generally pretty good too, plus they have a lifetime warranty.

I think the marketing team from DFS now work for Halfords - these sockets sets are regularly 50% off.

They are good though - I've had a set for 6 years and love them!
