Does anyone know what this is ? I inherited it in a garage clearance but no idea what it is. Hope it's not some sort of medical implement !

The guy had an MG if that helps

Brake Flexi pipe clamp.

Clamp onto rubber hose to stop fluid escaping when changing caliper.

Ahh, thanks. Doesn't compress much but guess it's enough.

You clamp the pipe in the straight bit of the tool and lock it off with the clip.

How do you get it around a connected hose?

It's open at the handle end! The work is done by the straight bit (as mentioned above) not the black circular section.

As above the hose goes in between the straight section roughly where the guys index finger is, not in the round end.

The handles are then closed up & the clip fitted to hold it in place.
