What these days do you consider a good premium pad for road use?
Many years ago Mintex was the go to for the dogs danglies, but it seems quality isn’t the same now.
I used to go for Pagid but reports suggest these have now gone downhill too.
I see EBC mentioned a lot, don’t know much about them.
No particular car in mind, just wondered what everyone else goes for.

I now use Performance Friction. Very good providing you get the bedding in process right.

I don’t like Pagid, I’ve had a couple of different applications where the backplate is too tight in calliper causing it to bund, so don’t buy them any more. I like TRW if I can get them, or Ferodo seem to work well but this is just for “normal” driving.

What for, road driving, track day or out and out racing?

I'm using MIntex 1155s, which see to me to be an excellent compromise.

Just road use for me, I believe my 2008 Golf Gti daily currently has Mintex in it which were in it when purchased.
No issues to speak of, just wondered what others favour.

For normal road use I now use Brembo (usually purchased from ECP for convenience).
