Struggling to find somewhere I can buy an Allen bolt (doesn’t have to be an Allen bolt) like these.
I’ve made a couple myself but the hole really weakens the integrity of the bolt. It’s to clamp an accelerator cable.

Surely if it is just to clamp an accelerator cable it doesn't need to be particularly strong, or is it quite a small bolt?

You may need a specific bolt from a specific car model rather than seeing it as a generic item.

You’re probably right regarding strength, I might be just be paranoid the cable will slip if it’s not tight enough. The bolt is approx 20mm long and requires a 10mm socket.
It’s on a mid engined kit car, the accelerator cable is 2.5 metres long, not that that makes any difference!

I used one commonly used on bicycle brake cables on my Westfield

edited to say, it appears to be called a pinch bolt

Just had a closer look at your pic, aren't they banjo bolts?

You can see what looks like a central hole in the bolt body.

When I google M6 banjo bolts I get ones for brake hydraulic used which are hollow. I need a solid M6 bolt that just has the hole through the thread.

Why does it matter that's hollow

Once clamped down it'll be plenty strong enough for a throttle cable.

And a banjo bolt will be a HT bolt.
