Best glue for glass to rubber ?
Discussion
My 986 has a glass screen in the softtop. There is a rubber seal that is bonded around the edge of the glass. About 4" of the bonding has failed and is letting in water (was cleaning top and pushed too hard on the glass).
The soft top, rubber and glass are all in good condition.
What glue would be best ?
Thanks

Google it, there a few possibles from 3M etc... I had to re-do the window in my XKR soft top and decided on JB-Weld after doing a LOT of research into what is actually available in UK. If one section has come loose the chances are the rest will follow shortly.
3 months in it's solid with no sign of it coming loose anytime soon.

Polyurethane bonding systems are used to glue glass or rubber since it has a high cohesion and is also flexible.
