Yeah they're really really good at driving in the snow flat out and jackknifing. Big queue of traffic on the motorway in the snow? Oh it's another professional driver.
I was being sarcastic! They are far from driving gods.

I quite often see them having a heart attack over someone that's in the wrong lane, or some other basic mistake. Lights flashing, horns blasting, fists waving etc. Much like the cock in the videos.

Cock Womble 7 said:
As would you if you were subjected to these "mistakes" day in, day out in the course of simply trying to go about your business.
Not really. My job involves me being on the road all day, every day throughout parts of the uk. I see driving mistakes all the time, but I dont act anything like the cock in the videos. I'll probably shake my head/toot the horn, but I certainly dont get worked up over it. After all, we all make driving mistakes, even "professional" drivers.

Cock Womble 7 said:
No. No-one is. In fact, the very premise of a "Driving God" is clearly ridiculous. They are just normal, professional people trying to do their job. It just so happens that they share their "work-place" with "colleagues" who haven't got the first fking clue how to do their job.
There's nothing "professional" about this cock, who appears to be looking for a confrontation for some reason. I don't drive a truck, but I do 60k miles a year and I see plenty of truckers who clearly can't do their job or just don't care, or maybe a bit of both. You seem to think truckers are better than the rest of us because they are "professionals" and have passed a few harder tests.

Actually that's quite informative - guidance on merging from 3 lanes into 2. readsmile

I drive all day for a living too. IMO this tool is about average lorry driver attitude, there are a lot better LGV drivers out there, and tbh there are a lot worse.
The mirrors on those vehicles are extremely good and along with sensible 'thinking ahead' and observation many of the incidents on the clips could have been avoided, although not all and the clips do show just what many of us see almost everyday.
I find LGV drivers no worse or no better than van drivers, car drivers, or women drivers (although bikers are right at the bottom of my intelligent drivers pile !), there are good and bad in all, the difference is when driving a huge artic you obviously need to think a lot further ahead, which many of them seem to forget and then blame others when they can't brake in time etc....

I'll use it tomorrow when I nail it down the slip road onto the M62 squeezing past the trucks at 120 mph, I'll be long gone before they can blast me with their 8 trumpet thing on the roof.

I've highlighted the relevant bits as you seem too wrapped up in your opinions to actually read. CW7 was agreeing with you. There are good and bad on two wheels, four wheels, eight wheels etc.

And as for your last paragraph, I experience far more st driving from cars than trucks and I'd be surprised if you don't.

And I am in no way condoning that truck driver. He is a menace and goes looking for trouble. He knew exactly what the minibus wanted to do and was just being a prick.

Probably, but if we all write Eddie Stobart in the comment boxes we'll have him. They always know where their lorries are so the time and date at the top of each video makes it easier for them to trace which driver he is. Of course, he may have been sacked by Stobart or have some grudge against them and be tarnishing their name whilst working for another firm or as a one man band with his own lorry.
why would you want to get someone sacked over some youtube vids?, he hasn't done anything dangerous your a type A for having that type of attitude I hope someone comes and shafts you in the future..... tosser.
Why would you select certain bits of my posts to make it sound like I'm saying something I'm not to try and pick a handbag fight with me? My point is that people get sacked for posting YouTube videos that their employers consider to be tarnishing their reputation. It's happened to people I used to work with. He might think he's covering himself by misspelling Stobart and he's anonymous on the Internet but no one is as anonymous as they think they are. I'm pointing out that people writing Stobart in the comments boxes will make the videos come up on Google alerts and the times and dates on the videos will make it clear to his employers who he is. The suggestion that we could have him was a joke in response to Saaby's comment about the spelling of Stobart, not a serious suggestion that we could report him or make sure he gets caught out by his employers. Stick to posting on the Daily Mail website if all you want to do is hurl obscene names at people.

Did I say I wasn't agreeing with CW7? I was talking about professional drivers in general, who have the cheek to call themselves professionals.

I agree, there's idiots on 2, 4 and 8 wheels. However, the vast majority on 2 and 4 wheels aren't professional drivers, which truckers are (in most cases). I'd be expecting a "professional" to be exactly that, but some just aren't.

Further to this, on the M40 north this morning there was a huge tailback, one lane closed. A professional driver had taken out 50 metres of guardrail and landed the lorry completely off the tarmac and somehow caved the cab in too. High score!

(Driver was okay)
