And that looks like a gorgeous 16i, they are becoming a rare sight.

I maybe sounded a tad harsh in my reply,I used to find it fun too but then after a few weeks driving one full time it got very boring.I prefer to jump between them and the diggers but the telehandler is my favourite if I'm honest.

And thank you, makes it worthwhile when you get comments like that.thumbup

I worked on the cycle tracks in and around Stronachlachar last summer.

To quote Steve McQueen, "we deal in lead, friend" wink

I deliver roofing products, was round at Royal Cottage, wouldn't mind that as my holiday home...

16 foot 2? Are you driving a double decker?
Is it bridges under 16' or 16'6 that need to be marked?
Well I feel stupid now. Whenever I've looked in or when I've ridden in one of our trucks, I thought it was a calendar...

I honestly thought it was one of those flip calendar things like this. http://www.ohgizmo.com/2008/06/30/twemco-flip-cloc... For the trampers or something, though it wouldn't explain their presence in the Scania P-series Day Cab Rigid Curtainsiders...

I went Airside of Heathrow today for the first time to deliver to a BA engineering building.

I saw a Concorde parked behind a large building out of public view and also the mock up

aircraft they use for crash and fire simulation .

Took a couple of furtive pics but they are not much kop as probably not meant to.

For every heaven, there's got to be a hell.

Last Friday, about a mile back from the Blackwall tunnel southbound.

In the early hours waiting in line for a Container. Kind of eerie waiting in the dark yet lit docks and then a dark shadow lowers over you.

We're down at Swanscombe, not far from the crossing. Always guarentees atleast one tunnel run a day.

The fleet is around 90 trucks, mainly Renault Premiums, plus Scanias, Volvos and and Ivecos. Mine is usually a Premium, or whatever is left in the yard.
