Ta mate wink

Grumpy52 is right, I have to admit since being home I've been abit lethargic, have the days to myself, but can't be arsed to even turn the xbox on, don't seem to have the concentration to sit there and play it? Mind you gradually the headaches are easing and the ear seems to bd getting better so hope this keeps up before the next ct scan.

S p a c e m a n, I hope I get basildon hospital for my ct scan, as its a 5 minute walk from my front door smile

I can't think of anywhere other than Brighton that looks like that, but don't think it is Brighton.

Basildons good and quick in the CT department, I'm normally in and out within an hour. Prefer going there for blood tests too, can be in and out in 10 mins so don't have to pay for parking biggrin

Can't remember what ones what, think that CT is the one where they inject you with something and it feels like you're having a pee in your pants and MRI is the one where they put a plastic cage on your face and make you sit in the dubstep bassline machine. I always try and get away with wearing jogging bottoms but they never have it and make me wear a gown the miserable gits hehe

Last time that I went to the seafront was for the mini run about 5 years ago and it pissed it down all day rolleyes

Have had some good times out on that beach, mainly during the mini runs. Stayed in a hotel one year for it with a girlfriend and ended up pissed out of our faces at some birthday party in a gay bar down the alley around the back. Slept until lunchtime, just laid on the beach hungover being abused by my mates and missed all of the show. Good cornish pasty shop on the highstreet yum

Have never owned a mini hehe

had to go to my dr today, re the dvla forms, and how i stood.
she said as part of my injury was a blood clot, she can't give me the green light to keep driving, (and i understand her decision) it has to be down to the consultant.

then got a letter telling me to phone them re my ct appointment. tried all day, their system is down, so they couldn't give me the info i need, so have to try again all day tomorrow.

truly gutted today on how things have gone, passed my hgv at 23, and loved doing this work for the last 20 years, now all of a sudden people are saying i can't do it at the mo.

rubbish eh, can't do anything else, i'm just a truck driver, whos not allowed to drive at the moment frown

1 step forward, and 2 steps back for the last 7 years, hey ho...

Bad news all round mate, I dont suppose you fancy a little foreigner driving my truck about, easy job, digicard etc will be provided, I could do with some time off.
On a serious note, I hope things work out.

ha,ha, thanks mate, your so kind smile
mind you after 2 weeks of being stuck at home, i'd consider that offer smile

got my 1st appointment through with the specialist for the 9th of july. gutted not to be at work and earning money, but hopefully this will give the injuries enough time to fully heal maybe?

lots of people are saying i should speak to some of these insurance companies advertising on the telly to see if there is the possibility of a claim...

Don't know how these claim companies work but there wasn't an actual accident.

Not sure who you would claim against.

Hope your visit to Doctors goes well though...smile

Had my MRI today, in and out in 40 mins so no free parking frown

Chilli, if you go Basidon then park around the back in the CT dept carpark rather than the multistory to save the walking. Wear some tracksuit bottoms with no zips and a t-shirt, I was getting some nasty looks off of all of the other patients because I didn't have to sit there wearing one of those stupid open backed gowns in my pants hehe

Oddly enough, prob could have met you for a brew!
My headaches were getting abit regular so went a&e this morning. A few tests, then got a ct scan, still some issues with the fractures and still 1 small bleed. So had a couple of jabs, and being kept in tonight for observation.
Due another more detailed scan tomorrow.

Ah boo, I would've been up for that and the cafe thing there looked pretty good too yum See if you can get some pictures of your brain, I've been trying to get my specialist to give me a copy of my scans on a disk but he's a miserable bd frown
