Just to confirm what he said ^^^^^.

When I was in Sweden last year I woke at gone midnight, looked out my tent,it wasn't dark at all, just a bit like dusk.

I was somewhere south of Harnosand,so not very far north.

Yeah, really weird - spent a long time in and around norrkoping and linkoping as my old company did almost all of it's product development over there...

Really short days were hard to get to used to!

Imagine the north of the country and the winter... The winters gets harder and harder for me to cope with tbh, the relative lack of snow as south as I live makes it even worse, it's just black more or less, snow lighthens things up abit in the dark months. Move to Spain around Alicante in the winters would suit me fine biggrin

Ericsson by any chance? Had alot of R&D in both cities.

We drove to Nyborg through a horrendous rain storm ,luckily it cleared overnight to the stunning day as photographed .
It's nice to get the time to appreciate the scenery.

The weather on that ^^^^^ day was pretty wet too, hence why roof is up.

Started from just inside Denmark over border from Germany, got stopped by Danish police for a paperwork check ,drove on,it tipped down but hood went down by the time I hit Sweden ,where I had the chance to pick up a pleasant looking girl hitch hiker but no room in tiny car.

irked

Saw this in Tilbury last week.

It's about 2 lorry widths.

What is it ?
They use something very similer for off loading timber off lorrys on to boats
Just sitting here watching it in action, think it's some sort of grain...

The bridge at Patras?
I used to enjoy it when we were Athens bound for a show and we'd get the ferry from Italy and get off at Igoumenitsa. Loved the drive down to Patras and on to Athens, good times cool

We did Bari to Patras on the ferry .The downside was 140 kms of single lane on the A8 because of roadworks .Came back to Patras on the same day and then 25 hrs on the ferry to Ancona. The joys of double manning 21hrs between rest breaks .
