Pics of abandoned /rotting large vehicles
Discussion
I found someones private but not exactly hidden away collection of trucks, some military,
fire engines and buses whilst trying to do a delivery in the wrong place
Unfortunately my camera battery also went flat with only 2 pics takenso may have to
pay another visit
Don't know what this is

Forgot i had this pic, another shipment from Tilbury to Africa
Is that just a regular curtain side truck which has been cut down? Loading doesn't look too safe either. Think I'd hold back if I came across that on the motorway! There's a Commer Q4 sitting in a tire compound(heavy plant type tires)at Etruria near Stoke. Doubt if it's visible from the road ,Gamer Street but anyone on a passing train can spot it.I have been driving this bit of railway for several years and it hasn't moved in all that time but does look restorable. Its a faded orange chassis cab.

Austin, looks like a militarised version of the K-Series, 1940s, nice fire engines and buses whilst trying to do a delivery in the wrong place

Where do all the old trucks go to then?
I work in construction and we've had bits of plant go missing and end up in Africa! I know of suppliers who sell ex-hire plant to Africa also. Is it the same with old trucks?
Mostly one of our customers bought 3 trucks off us to send out there they prefer the older trucks as they tend not to have fancy electronics although our old n reg iveco went to cyprusI work in construction and we've had bits of plant go missing and end up in Africa!
