Absolutely - I wasn't suggesting that it was suitable for you, was just being pedantic regarding your point! I think, despite the success the Pathfinder PHEV is having as a passenger car the appeal is very limited as a practical commercial vehicle and, to be fair I suspect the manufacturer is realistic regarding potential sale volumes.

although having said that I am trying to see if I can make it work... running on electric 80-90% of the time will write off at least £150/month of fuel so it may add up. Coming from vito will require some ruthless downsizing in the junk I carry and management of junk onboard, and awkwardness in secure storage for powertools and test equip is a concern. Still a compromise but rolling around in a SUV thing might be worth it compared to the transitystuff.
