Hello,

Thought I'd post on here to get a bit of advice.
I'm looking to change jobs slightly from FLT driver, to delivery driver (Day shift, better hours etc)

I've looked at a few jobs like this: Link

I've not called them as of yet, however can anyone tell if this is genuine? Anything I need to look out for in the industry? I've heard collections are a thing to avoid...
FYI - I need to be employed, rather than Self employed due to applying for a mortgage next year and can't wait to get the 3 years of accounts together.

Cheers,

Michael

I'm guessing you need to provide your own Van though?

A few I've looked at provide a van. Again, without calling I won't know.
I'm just fishing for anyone who replies and says "I applied for something similar and it turned out to be a bit scam"
"I had to work 15 hours a day for £6 per hour" etc

If nothing like that appears, I'll start applying in a day or two!

Why get paid that to be a self employed driver when you can get paid the same to be an employed driver

Looks dodgy to me ,the initail ad reads all wrong ,daily rate plus milage ?
Chances are you will have yo do more drops than santa to get that rate and it will be 10-12 hr days minimum .
