I saw the 2CV earlier in the thread and thought I'd add one of how we used to do it - two kids in the back couple of tents and a big awning

We still have the 2CV and still go camping in it, but TBH we tend to use this a bit more, as I miss my comfort:

This is Florence

1983/84 Trafic hi-top. only 80k on the clock. Spent this winter getting the engine up to par, and welding the underneath.

Taking her back to France later this spring.

As soon as this rain stops will work on the ex and in terior

CLassic late 70's early 80's dash.

1600cc of french awesomeness. I was looking for a VW but the price was just too much.

After a few years of campervan ownership we've decided to buy a caravan so after browsing Ebay found a 1992 Eccles Topaz ready to use with all accessories h&c water, shower, awning, plates, aquaroll, hook up lead etc. I had a drive up to Malton in North Yorkshire from North Wales the van was exactly as described with no issues handed over £750.00 not a lot of cash for some relaxing breaks away.

Trying the awning in the garden

Yes indeed, it's a Danbury Rio converted in 2009 using a brand new Brazilian Kombi. Production in Brazil finally stopped last December.
