Where are you going / where have you been ?

I will be spending saturday night in a hammock on the top of a remote mountaintop deep in the Panamanian jungle.
It's a two hour off-road 4x4 drive plus a six hour hike along a steep ridge in unmapped / unexplored territory to get there.
Got two litres of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon packed in my rucksack!

Oh well, campsite in Cambridge rang us at 8am. Half of the site is under a foot of water due to torrential rain, so that's the end of that.
Still have to go to Cambridge though as my step-daughter has a day place introduction course on Monday. Will have to book a hotel for Sunday night now and go down in the car. What a bummer. I've worked solid on the bloody thing every weekend since I bought it.
This means heading off around Europe a week on Fri in a campervan we haven't camped in yet. What could possibly go wrong..

I guess that is what you call wild camping! It's a two hour off-road 4x4 drive plus a six hour hike along a steep ridge in unmapped / unexplored territory to get there.

How come you're out there? Sounds fun!

Spending 3 nights next week rough camping and fishing in the Scottish borders.Usually head north towards Oban to a large glacial loch but have decided on a change this year.
Hoping for good weather and good fishing as this is the 1st trip of the autumn/winter fishing trips we have planned.
