How easy are huge motor homes to drive?
Discussion
Hey OP as mentioned earlier mirrors mirrors and even more mirrors. The tail swing may catch you out at junctions or tight turns. If you're turning don't be afraid of taking up all your lane to stop anyone creeping up the side and then getting side swiped.
I've driven buses for over 15 years and can't stress the mirrors thing enough.
How about trying a bus parking app on your phone to see how Severe tail swing can be? (Even though you MH will be smaller).
The owner may well be taking you out in your car to give you some pointers about the characteristics of his MH which is fair do's IMO.
All the best and I hope you enjoy it.

True, I followed a mate (who drives trucks for a living) who was driving our 10m motorhome, the longer rear overhang nearly caught him out a couple of times. All the best and I hope you enjoy it.
I have a 4 hour drive in ours tomorrow along some really crap roads, I will be glued to the mirrors !
