A topic mainly for ChrisGR31, but feel free to contribute. 6 berth , with 2 permament bunks, and a singe side dinette that converts to bed + bunk above + end washroom

We chose it so we could rope the young 'un off at bedtime and still have access to the main door to the awning and the loo without going past her and waking her up.

We are looking for a similar layout to the one above but in a light small van, So who is doing a van with bunks one end, fixed or "pop up" then a double at the front? Who are producing good small light vans?

Thanks Surveyor very helpful, if I recall correctly yours is twin axle.

The Burstner I think is single axle? Is that correct?

Mine is identical layout to Surveyor's but it's an Ace Jubilee Equerry.

Slightly different in certain areas (front windows for example) but other than that the same.

Yep. I'm fonder of out upholstery over some others (we keep it covered due to a dog), but our front window is one piece, and we suffer for that...

Chris - we also looked at the single axle layout. The twin was better value for money, more space, the car would tow it, fuel consumption similarly st, so a bit of a no brainier.

Dealer special van but based on an Elddis Emperor 630 with this layout.

We have a 2007 Bailey Ranger 550/5 which works for us. Kids room at the back works great for us. Sorry, no pics as on my phone.

Right finally got round to taking pictures of ours, it's a 1984 Dethlef 5 berth, Bunk beds at the rear, single bed/table on one side and double / sofa at the front. There is a bathroom with shower, however as there is no water heater its only used as a toilet.
