Have you seen the tents Canvas Holidays have?

they are massive- with a decent little kitchen set up and "DRUM ROLL PLEASE"



Double memory foam mattress on a raised bed

and if you arrive late walking into a set up tent is easier than building one in the dark !

Not that old (49) and will be camping tonight in the Peaks!
Going to be -1 so have karrimat, self inflating mat, decent sleeping bag and duvet :-)
Pub next door to site so may be in there for a while!

Camped until my late 40's when I found a caravan for sale at a price I couldn't resist. Getting off the ground in the morning was becoming difficult in my case, so it seemed a natural progression.

OP update as I have just got back from the same trip as last year,only a much better outcome than 2014.

I bought a much better air bed for starters but I think my back pain was just me and should stop blaming

other stuff.

2 weeks away,put tent up every night but 1 and the return journey when I hardly stopped at all and no pains

to report.

I like a happy ending.
