We were staying on Merley Court near Wimborne last week. Should have left Saturday morning and were considering going to the Hovercraft race meet at Fawley on the way home.

However decided to pack up the caravan and awning late Friday and couldnt be bothered with Fawley particularly with todays forecast so came home. Left the site at 10pm on Friday home near Tunbridge Wells just after midnight. No hassle.

Incidentially for children camping whether in a carvan or tent is great for Children once they are old enough to be out of their own playing with all the other kids on the site

Wow, wish I had known about the hovercraft racing in Fawley. I used to race them about 20 years ago.... great fun to do and to spectate.

You'll know by brother in laws then, as fairly sure they had started by then, and they are still doing it. In fact their kids are doing it too! Can see it all online as well.
