Habitation check required by insurance

Having received a very competitive quote from Comfort insurance they now require a habitation check. This obviously comes at quite a cost and isn't required by all other companies.

Has anyone experienced this and are there any recommendations on a company or individual to complete in the Midlands.

Cost about £120.00 p/a
Well worth having done yearly even if not required by your insurers. The bloke I used to use was very thorough, but based in the northwest, but I think he was part of a franchise type group.

I would have thought you asked for it yourself if you just acquired the van,and not an unreasonable request by the insurer, if you are an existing customer seems a strange request.
