All ready to see in the New Year in Brugge!!

If you fancy visiting buddy, we are at Camping Memlings. Literally half a mile from the Town Centre, or we could gather in town?

What kind of trailer is that, if you don't mind me asking?

Standard British Army sankey on the bottom half bar matching wheels, then a custom expedition conversion on the top!

We are away at Easter in Salisbury direction, perfect excuse to hit the plains with the caravan too! Misses first time away in it too.

The Elddis will have to go unfortunatly, the new OH has two lil uns (2 and 5) so a 2 berth doesn't quite suit the role needed anymore. Just purchased a 2001 Avondale LandRanger 6400 with End Bathroom, side bunks etc. Was a display model, so has AC, Alloys, all the toys, and a beautiful isabella awning and porch! I collect it today, hopefully throw some pictures up! Thats the economy on the v8 landy ruined then!

Well?! Did you collect it? What's it like? Pictures man, pictures!!

It has a very similar MIRO to ours (1740kg compared to our 1700kg) and we manage around 28mpg from the A6 when towing.

Remember that the AC unit will take a fair chunk of your payload (possibly 40kg ish?).

I pulled the old girl out and took it round to the yard to give it a mid winter spruce up.

Always easier to clean the roof twice rather than leave it until April and really have to scrub it!

Looks like we might be shoe-horning in a long weekend to Cornwall over Easter.

Nice break, the weather is looking good too!! We are off to 6 Penny Handley, then taking the trucks to Salisbury Plains to get muddy.

Just booked onto West Hants 50th Bday Rally, Mayday weekend. 4 days of relaxing and entertainment, £70! Shouldnt be too bad. New towcar too!

Thats a lovely looking outfit you have there! Slight envy! hehe

I really must take a picture of my outfit. Its 12 months now since I purchased my first 14ft, 25 year old van behind my scenic. I now have a huge twin, modern-ish, and tow with two big trucks. Caravanning has become a serious addiction!

It really is lovely, with all the modern conveniences. Haven't tried the awning yet but it's about twice the total space of the van again. Waiting for better weather before we give that a try-out.

The ML surprised me. I sort of realised it would cope OK but it was spectacular. I'm looking to swap it for the 4-litre V8 diesel if I can but only because I fancy one and not because the 3-litre was deficient at all.

We're going to the Forest of Dean for Easter. Funny as we used to live on it's doorstep but never camped there, but now we've moved away we fancy going!

Went back to the van in the lockup site for the first time in about 4 months last week and was pleased to see that our thorough end of season clean paid off, no nasty smells or mould, nice and fresh and just a bit of grime on the outside. Will probably tug it out to the local Latvians to clamber all over it with a jetwash next week smile

Thursday will see us in Cornwall visiting relatives over Easter.

Have booked a small CL site initially but we're hoping to get the caravan onto my wife's grandparents property (15 acres) but access is tight so going to dump the caravan at the CL and evaluate the access!
