Close to buying from Force Vans

I am looking to buying a large van from Force Vans.
Currently looking at the bigger Merc Sprinters, twin wheel axle and 2.7 turbo with chain drive.

I will be using this van to tow a TVR to drag race meetings etc and will convert the van to a motorhome over the next couple of years.

Any advice and ideas greatly appreciated before i spend my hard earned.

I think I'd look at it from the other way around. Try and find a motorhome capable of towing your drag car.
Converting a van to a motorhome must be costly time consuming and the end result might not have the value put into it at resale time.
There are lots of motorhomes on the Sprinter base.

Ive been looking and most of the ones i see either cheap due to mileage, build quality etc or the better ones are out of my price range.
I have to admit i am quite keen to do the conversion myself to how i want it.
Certainly still open to options but i really need to have a van within a month or so. I am covered for the first meeting at York but dont want to be driving and pitching a tent at the second meeting in May.

What towing capacity do you need? This is quite important, as with vans they really do vary. Iveco will have the highest capacity, unless the Sprinter has a factory fitted towbar, when they then uprate them. Im a commercial salesman if you want to pm me with any questions

The TVR is 1060Kg and the trailer is about 600kg IIRC

Converting a van seems a good idea - it does not have to look like a motor home from the outside and it can be converted back to a van which can make it easier to sell and also makes it multi-purpose
