Got the van washed and polished yesterday, looking good for the trip away!

Really counting down the days now.
We were away at the weekend so cleaned the insides (as we do after every trip) and I got some time just to clean up the panel joins outside which get discoloured over time; and clean off any black streaks. I'll give the MH a full outside fettle when we pick her up. I'll get her on the Thursday prior to leaving on the Saturday.

As you say, not long now biggrin

Ours needs doing badly. Time is an issue though.

Me too - although I have a Nationwide Select CC that does the same thing (Visa instead of MC, but pretty much exactly the same at the moment at €1.19 to the pound).

Not exactly exotic but we are having two weeks in the Lake District starting at the end of the month.

I am looking forward to it as we haven't had a two week holiday for ten years, and I love the Lake District. I know that the weather will be cold and wet, it always is, but at least in a caravan we are more protected than when in a tent.

Just booked a week in Normandy in mid August. Three days after we come back we go to East Lothian for a week. Then a week in Cornwall for October half-term. Also a few local weekends with friends including this one coming up.

4 more sleeps then our 2016 adventure starts.

One week at Watergate Bay with a big group of friends in a mix of Vans, Motorhomes, Tents and even a cottage then two families hook up, get the ferry from Plymouth across to Roscof and a 4 hour drive to Carnac for the second week.

Bit of a shorter drive than last years trip to Lake Garda with the van and to be fair Im already missing that part of the adventure - I love a long trip.

Sun has started early, lets hope Cornwall keeps it for next week
