Prob too late now, but the 2.8JTD was only until 2006, so probably a 3.0.

Very good.

Enjoy the van - really popular layout those. Not so different from the layout of my 640. Good luck with it and look forward to hearing of your adventures too! smile

Nigh on 6months in-

we have :

Been to Norfolk/Suffolk

Padstow
then our biggest jaunt

lake district-yourkshire-derbyshire-cotswolds-devon-Cornwall

we have been back to dealers a few times
first off with stuff not done during PDI

Aircon fixed
alarm fixed
heating pipework fixed
and a few small things missed

then back for New Skylight not found on PDI (cracked)
retune of satellite tuner

then lastly for a new Fuel pump (gauge had failed )

sadly every time it goes in I need to check what has been done
as the pump was fitted using screws in the Cover far to long that over time would have punctured the Tank, god knows the level of technical knowledge with their staff ?

then this week on a trip to Dartmouth a bloody stone hit the screen frown
so now waiting on Autoglass to get a new screen in then fit.

but

we love the MH enjoy going in it, looking after it
and now use it over the other cars in the House.

looking forward to more trips and some overseas ventures..
along with reading all the stories on Here.

1 year into ownership
6k miles covered
numerous trips and still very pleased with our purchase.

Only real issue has been the windscreen.

Replaced/leaked then found to be out of shape
attended with a pattern one (was appalling Quality)
left to then order another genuine
returned but brought a LHD version with holes for Wipers in wrong place
finally they arrived with a genuine fault free screen and fitted it last week.

screen repair Company tried many times to suggest the issue was not the glass they were using
culminating in somewhat argumentative discussions.
broken internal radio antenna (I replaced eventually) this was damaged by removal cord they use to cut old sealer away.

Our temporary family pet loves it:

Thanks for the update and pleased you're enjoying the van, in spite of what sounds like a very frustrating experience with the windscreen.

I had to have the screen replaced on Harry and ended up with Autoglass "Specials" who do all the coach, bus and lorry work and they got me the correct factory-spec screen first time and did a very professional job on fitting. It did take a while, however, to get fed through to the right folk though.

Glad it's all sorted for you now though and you can continue to enjoy the van.

That's generally my target as it's the only way to keep the chassis side of things in good nick, by being driven.

Wish you many more happy miles! smile

I did the Annual service just before the MOT was Due.
I did this Myself as I want to know what has been done and also check the MH out fully.

Air oil Pollen and Fuel Filter all replaced.
correct tool purchased for tightening the Fuel filter housing.
Fresh Oil recent new Anti freeze when the Radiator was replaced under warranty
it showed a leak and was the Original. Dealer replaced without any quibble.
The handbrake adjusted as this was rather on the high end of the Lever,
Hab service done no issue were found either.

So good to go as soon as work allows smile

I did add an Injector cleaner too with a full tank of Shell V power Diesel

The MH sailed through the MOT
which I was surprised was only £40
