I am taking my MotorHome and car trailer to Spa Belgium next year and need to do the crossing on the channel tunnel train because we are taking a dog with us and he can,t go in a cage on the ferry,s. The set up will be about 14 metres long.So does anyone have advise as to who to go through, discount codes, height restrictions and general info to help smooth the trip. Ferrysavers.com has been my first port of call

On Dover Calais ferries there are no pet cages, the dog stays in the vehicle and you are allowed down to check on it during the crossing.

We just book direct with Euro tunnel, I know that car & caravan doesn't have any length so it's the same regardless of length, just height which is over 1.8m iirc & you go on the lower decks. Just keep an eye out when you come back, we had someone try to stowaway when were checking the dog in at french pet passport control, but that might not be a problem now the jungle has gone!

Use Tesco ? You can use 3x clubcard vouchers to pay towards your crossing, it's all we use ours for !

we always leave our dog in the motorhome. no cages when we go.

Also able to pop down and see her if we feel the need, but she normally sleeps through quite easily once left.
