If any of you folks have any Avios, be aware that they are stopping new chunnel bookings from 01/01/17 next year. You can book a date after now that but they will not take any new bookings from 01/01/17.

Also they don't do the Flexiplus tickets either in case you wanted to book a crossing not quite knowing when you were travelling!

Gutted as I have 189k of Avios so enough for a few trips. Still it'll give me time to build up my Tesco points I suppose smile

I managed to book my Easter trip with them using Avios but couldn't do the August one as the dates are not out for August crossings on the chunnel yet!

I'm not sure how it affects ferries as we don't go on them.

From 1 January 2017, it will no longer be possible to book package holidays, cruises, ferry crossings, Thomas Cook sport event breaks, Orient Express, Disneyland® Paris Hotels, or Eurostar™ tickets by spending your Avios, but you'll still be able to collect Avios when you book with your favourite travel brands online via Avios eStore and with Direct Ferries when you book through avios.com.
