Sweet pine scented walnuts! I am excited. Have booked my very first F1 tickets.

I now have 3 days of F1 and camping to look forward to. Will have access to a camper van but also taking a tent for when I can't make it up the step.

Who else is going?

Yep - I'm also at the Woodlands site in the family section (although the family won't be joining me).

I'm not sure if I should take my MX-5. Am I likely to get stuck in the mire?

First time for me taking the van in, but friends have done it for a couple of years and from what Ive read online (facebook page is really good for woodlands) everyone says the site is good.

You'll need to judge the weather nearer the time - stunned if you can get enough gear including a tent/booze/food/sleeping bags/etc etc in an MX5 too!! Thats a quality packing session right there...

Can anyone recommend the best touring site with electricity for the F1? Family friendly as taking my kids (5 & 2)?

You will need to look for sites "fairly" close now as the hook up pitches at Woodlands are limited so sell out in seconds when they launch....

Im going electricity free - first time for everything.......

Ditto. I'll be stocking up on a few mini disposable gas canisters.

Not sure I'll need them, but thinking of solar panels. Although I guess a full Gas bottle and fully charged battery should be ok for lights/heat/shower etc.......

Friend has a small silent generator sorted though - just in case we need a top up :-)

Same here OP. First time at an F1 event

We've got family tickets at Club for the 3 days and camping from Wednesday at Woodlands.
