What is the white vessel on the right next to the pump for and do I need to do anything with it...........

I can't read the print underneath Whale but i would guess its to bleed air out the system at the low point.

Not sure, but would guess either a surge damper or a pump primer?

BTW 77, was it you who was at Croft with Neil last year when we were testing the Gem?

Found one in my M/H when I was laying it up for the winter. Took it off thinking it was a filter and took it to local caravan dealer for a new one for the new season only to be told it's a surge damper and stops the pump running too much. No need to replace it unless it stops working

No not me never been that far North biggrin actually come to think of it I can only afford to do my testing during qually.

First thing I do when I get a motorhome is replace the surge vessel I have never removed one that's not manky inside.
