Seriously looking at vans now and we much prefer the layouts available in the dry vans.

We have only ever used site facilities so not having the bathroom, toilet etc dowsnt bother us - but we would really want a kitchen sink!

The woodwork issue and actually fitting one is not bothering me, its the plumbing side!

We could do without the hot water and just boil a kettle, so im thinking an external water and waste and a simple electric pump tap.

Possible? Any ideas where i could source the bits?
Is there an easy way to get hot water?

Our little Eriba has a kitchen sink, but to be honest we rarely use it.
Most civilised sites have washing up facilities and it is just far easier to use them instead of a cramped sink.
We carry a washing up bowl and a bucket (both fold flat) and boil kettles for hot water.

I have tried to convince her that would be the best option but she is adamant about having a sink!

I'd imagine any of the camper conversion shops online. It would I suspect be quite easy to add an electric water heater if you camp on facilities with mains power.

When I converted my T5, I bought the sink, tap and pump from Clearcut Conversions. If you have space in the cupboard underneath the sink, then two onboard 10L water tanks (fresh+waste) and a submersible pump would make fitting even easier. Wiring the tap is simple, just 12v feed to + on tap, - tap to + pump, - pump to earth.

Plenty of sellers on ebay too, just search for 'camper sink kit'.

As above, keep it all inboard if you can.

You won't need large containers so 10l should be big enough.

All taps, pumps etc are available online from loads of places.

It's the electrics that would worry me..

Sink, waste, spout, 12v inline or submerged pump with foot/knee switch, 2 10l containers, 1 fresh, 1 waste. Pretty easy. If you're on a budget use a stainless steel mixing bowl to reduce the cost, and use a piece of bent chrome pipe for the spout/tap or similar.
