Winter Fridge covers
Discussion
Do any of you folks fit these over your external grilles in winter?
I have a pair of them but have never used them. We are going down to Spain in Jan so am considering using them whilst we are on the move if the weather is crap. Tbh we have MH'ed in snow and sub zero temps a few times and never used them before.

I've only just started using them. And really only due to having a problem with the fridge running on gas whilst away in the Highlands (I think the flame kept getting blown out as we had the wind & rain lashing that particular side of the van). But I've kept the cover on since being back since I'm parked up in a rural area with leaves and stuff being blown around and would prefer to give the fridge a chance to stay clean back there.
The Dometic handbook says to use them when temps fall below 10 degrees however I seldom see them being used when I'm on sites. We are driving down to Spain early in Jan so I think I'll fit them for that trip.
The turnbuckles look a little flimsy to me so I ordered a couple off Fleabay as spares.
