Caravan Awning

We went from a dorema awning to an air pro 300. I have no idea about any other makes. It has saved a lot of hassle when we get to a site. We bought the pump as well..as my friend says an awning is a divorce in a bag! So anything to make life easier is all good in my book.

I got one of these last year it’s nice to open up the front, both doors open to the Center beam.
Only downside is the single support pole in the center. It takes 2 mins to fit but does really need two people.

I can on my own put it up in 10-15 minutes.

Leaning towards the Outdoor Revolution at the moment - simply due to it's reviews.
Where are you based, I went to https://www.a2zcamping.co.uk/inflatable-awnings.ht... in Birmingham as they (believe it or not) in a very small space manage to have a lot of these on display!Leaning towards the Outdoor Revolution at the moment - simply due to it's reviews.
I was a two hour drive but coupled with shipping costs and waiting in for the delivery this was worth it as I got to compare it to other models.
I had an Outdoor Revolution air awning (still have it actually, must sell it!) for the VW T5, and it was a great awning. Well made, plenty of windows and some handy little storage features. I had a Kampa before that which admittedly was in a different price bracket, but it wasnt up to the standard of the OR. Wholeheartedly recommend one.
Got a couple.
Vango 420 which feels really good qualityfot what we paid for it 3 years ago.
Also got a cheaper Suncampp air 260 (or something like that) which we take for short weekends, only because you don’t need the extra space for 2 days, and also if the weather looks wet, it’s eaier to dry once home.

Last season were were faced with the same choice.
The Kampa was more expensive, but went for that one nonetheless.
Better quality and more versatile.
I was fortunate in that our local shop had both erected side by side for a direct comparison. (Berkshire Caravans).
Bloody expensive though.

our kampa turned up a couple of days ago, we'll be trying it out this weekend. one thing we overlooked a bit, is that packed down, its still a pretty big lump! it's taken up the whole of our bench seat in our hymer (including some modification) and it's still a tight squeeze! very briefly looking it over, it looks to be well made, ill update next week if it's helpful. also if you have any particular questions, ask away.

I bought the optional zip in fly-screens for my Kampa awning.
They're useful in that they hold the curtains in place in the 'closed' position without hanging down.
Thus privacy is maintained inside the awning, and the white curtains don't drag in muddy grass when unpacking and packing.
I also bought the LED strip light. Dimable via remote control - very good when velcro'd into position.

When you say "better quality and more versatile" can you expand on that?
The OR 380 is available in three quality grades? 600 - 800 - Climate?
The nearest equivalent Kampa awning is the Fiesta Pro and opposed to the Rally?
We haven't purchased yet but want to in the next few weeks

I went for the Kampa over the Outdoor Revolution based on:
Sturdiness and thickness of fabric
Sturdiness of inflated uprights and resistance to bending (how they'd perform in strong winds).
Vertical side uprights giving more headroom per sq footage. Also the dimensions avoided covering my caravan side windows.

After viewing an OR Europa 380 today i think we'll go for the Rally Pro Air 390 as the depth of the OR is 360cm - very deep and not that versatile when you consider the size of the pitches on some sitesI went for the Kampa over the Outdoor Revolution based on:
