Breaking into a caravan....
Discussion
A very frustrating week this week. Not helped by a scrote breaking into the family car.
I'd been to check on the caravan over the weekend, and the keys to the caravan were still in the car. So they took them.
We have spare keys, which I recall are on a hook inside the caravan. I probably should have foreseen this, but err didn't. I think I have a spare key on those for the wheelclamp.
We also have a hitchlock. The case for this with the spare keys was hanging around the house. It has been tidied away. I'm hoping that when we moved the carpets back into the van I put that in there at the same time.. nice theory...
So first order of the day is to get into the caravan.... Time will tell as to how easy it is.

The Internet know it alls say it is very easy. Just lift the whole window out, in seconds.
So no doubt for a person who lives in the real world, it'll be nigh on impossible to get into it.
In all seriousness, a mobile locksmith will have you inside in minutes. If you want cheap, your local hackspace may have a member who is a keen amateur lock picker.

What a pain.
Depending on the catches I'd have a go at the windows, you may be able to use a steel rule or something to push the catches back.
When our van got done they broke in by forcing the door which damaged the trim which is very soft.
Your hitch lock may have a key number on the lock barrel if not time for a sharp drill bit.

I have dismembered a wiper blade tonight in preparation. Think I’d better take my registration document with me also....Depending on the catches I'd have a go at the windows, you may be able to use a steel rule or something to push the catches back.
