I reckon theyll just have Jamie opening the door and Varys leading him out down some stray darkened corridor, leaving Shae/Tywin till next year.
I wonder if Bri vs Hound will happen and if Bri takes Ayra to Bravoos as a way of keeping her safe? Though i guess that depends on how much 'Cat' plays a part in the soon to be released books...
Dani - im guessing she'll be whisked away by Drogon (though who really cares tbh)
Sansa - Anything she know does will not be known to us book readers (well not really bar leaving the eyrie/marriage proposal)
Have you seen the trailer? There have been some hilarious I've seen the episodeI've made up some st posts on ASOIAF and IMDB.
My own thoughts;
We've see the privy door so we'll get Tywin dead.
Bri beats Hound, Arya runs off...not sure if she will refuse the 'mercy' kill.
Bran meets Bloodraven and we have visions, of maybe all the Stark kids....maybe Cat?
Jaime goes off to Dorne sent
Stannis turns up and beats Mance
edit, forgot to add, Dany's stuff...the dragon eating a kid and then the chaining.

The yanks get a recap before every ep, and it's released at the end of the preceding week, it's usually a big indicator of what will be in the ep...so should be out tonight...

We see Shae in bed. So I reckon Tywin is in.

Same here

It is probably often the actors portraying them.

Sophie Turner has been very good this season and last, whilst Emilia Clarke has been wooden for the last season and a half.

Its the natural climax to the season arc?

I am 99% sure it will be in this episode

My predictions where all wrong then laugh

I wonder if we will see Bri or Cat next season as anything involving them will be 'new material' (bar them meeting up)

Can someone confirm for me that there were no dodgy CGI skeletons and fire throwing magic children in the books?

Also Jojen?!

The OH was like "this is really stupid" and I felt I had to apologise on behalf of the show.

I felt it was really missing the Tysha back story too. It made his actions seem quite petty in the end.

Everything else was great though, even the bits not like the book.

"Valar Morghulis" smile

They did have to fight their way through a bunch of wights to get to the cave (with some help from ColdHands, sadly missing from the TV series), but no I don't recall any fireballs being thrown by the children - that did seem a bit OTT.

(Added - having just re-read it Leaf did indeed kill the wights with fire, so the scene isn;t actually that far off how it happens in the books)

Jojen survives the battle and gets into the cave in the books, but then IIRC he just spends the next few chapters being sickly and miserable. If he has no major role left to play in the plot, I can see why the scriptwriters took the opportunity to write him out now.

Agreed, I think it's a shame the series didn't make more of the Tysha backstory... it's a big part of Tyrion's character. The whole Tyrion/Jamie/Tywin/Shae section felt rushed and a bit unsatisfactory to me.

I was shocked at Jojen, and it was a nasty way to go!
In the books he is alive but ill...there is a theory that he has been killed by the cotf and fed him to Bran.

Wights did attack the ream before the ave in the books, and the cotf do save them with fire, but not quite as depicted. We know wights deteriorate. I just thought that those wights have been guarding that cave entrance for a very lengthy period of time.
I have to admit I was expecting Coldhands to appear from nowhere and make the save.

Why did Varys get onto the boat? I don't remember that from the books.

He doesnt as such/no-one knows where he is once Tyrion escapes though he pops back up in KL later on as an assassin.

The thing that confused me the most last night is why on earth Stannis showed up beyond the wall.

No explanation of that at all (unless I missed something).

In the books doesn't Jon ask for his help?

The Night's Watch did at the end of the last season - The Onion Knight tells Stannis and Melisandre when they are about to punish him for letting Robert's bd son go and they decide to head to the wall.

Aye, at the end of the last season the Night's Watch sent an appeal for help to every lord in Westeros. Stannis was the only one who paid any attention. It's taken him all this season to get his army back together and do something about it, however. I seem to remember that in the books he showed up a bit more quickly - the Wall and Stannis storylines have both moved quite slowly this season..
