I'm still not saying anymore until after 10pm
Interesting that said actor is claiming that they won't be in S6, I wonder if this will have implications for Winds of Winter?
I too saw that (and two others) and I thought it backed up my theory...and then I watched it.

Right, fk it, so Jon Snow is dead. Apparently he's definitely dead which is a surprise. He was one of the actors mentioned in the argument about Season 6 salaries. Now he could be definitely dead or it could be a huge mind fk by the producers

The bit with Varys was probably my favourite of the series so far

But but but... Melisandre is conveniently at Castle Black and we've seen the Lord of Light resurrect before! We didn't see his funeral, there is still some slim hope.

Yeah...erm....erm...

I had already seen a pic of JOn SNow dying...which I expected, and with warg eyes, which I expected.
ANd then my eyes strained I was staring at the screen so hard...and erm...fade to black......I had also been told Benjen turns up.

Watchingit again now, fk, Meryn's death was brutal.

Yeah, and that was epic, looked a bit Vaderish under the helmet, and completely and realistically terrifying.
I wasn't sure he would when I started looking at the clock.

Yeah the Riverland stuf, we're getting Septon Meribald next year, and Tarly....and the Freys will need dealing with.

I know, no warg eyes! The fking trolls had gotten hold of the last scene and spraypainted with it!

My prediction is that Jon Snow will be resurrected by the red woman we know the Lord of light has this power, now he is dead he is free from the nights watch, will meet up with the wildlings and build an army with them to take back winterfell.

Not according to the spoiler from the BBC yesterday

"Kit's not returning"

How many book theories does that kill!?!

He has to return.
So many theories about him. So many nods to him returning.
Of course he will have to say he isn't returning. Imagine him saying I am returning hehe

He can't return to the Nights Watch now he has been killed by the other crows so his story belongs somewhere else.
If he is to be revived by Melisandre it'd be interesting to see how he comes out.

The Wildings need a leader and it has shown he has a soft spot for them but what would be the point in him joining them?

The book needs to hurry up and be released. I'm saying April 2016 biggrin

I read an interesting idea on the westeros site, which explains why some of the story has been jumbled up. Brienne went North to allow her to confront him and condense his story, this ties in with Sansa. Then next year the whole warg thing an be revealed without spoiling it for other Starks if they are gonna do that. Arya is blind, JOn dead, Bran is back etc.

Sam goes to the Reach and that's when we meet Euron.

I think that the opening shot of next year will be Varamyr, and lay the work for warg stuff.

Have to say I'm getting tired of the moronic attitude I'm reading of, 'fk this Martin kills all the 'good' guys.', people haven't been watching anything if they thing this is a god guy/bad guy story.

It makes you realise how conditioned some people are by Hollywood endings. How many films have had the endings changed after screen testing with the public because the hero didnt walk off into the sunset.

It hurts when a character you've invested time in gets slotted but, for me, that emotion is what makes GOT so unique.

My thoughts (c&p from t'other place as we can discuss better here)

Okay, so now that I’ve slept on it and had a good think on the train…

The spoiler I saw yesterday was that Kit Harrington isn’t in S6 from the BBC. Which at the time, kinda ruined the whole thing for me, but I managed to put it behind me before I watched it.

It could be
- a Bran type thing, missing a season
- that they’ve killed him off as that’s the plan in the books,
- that they’ve re-written it due to pay negotiations & he’s dead & will resurrect into another body (actor) or
- his contracted no spoilers clause

That they have killed him off completely is very unlikely, but... the is GRRM laugh

It could easily be a pay negotiation disagreement so they swap actors & have his body burned out of recognition before he is ressurected.

He could warg into Ghost & be stuck for S6

More likely to be a no spoiler's clause. But how they'll film it without him being spotted; unless by filming they won't care anymore...

Most of Martin's characters are quite easy to categorise into traditional fantasy alignments, with only a few being "grey". The show makes this categorisation even easier because you do not get the same character depth as you do with the books...

On the whole last night I as a tad disappointed, especially with the Stannis plot (he is one of the more "grey" characters in the book). The Winterfell battle was mainly off screen to save money, and I understand that large battle scenes cost a lot of money but Spartacus managed a lot of big battles on a much smaller budget.

I am sure that "Winds of Winter" will have a more interesting conclusion to the Stannis/Boltan/Winterfell plot, even though I know that the books aren't really about the battles and Martin has said many times that he finds writing battle scenes very difficult (if you want medieval battles read Bernard Cornwell or Steven Erikson).

I had a picture taken with him in a bar so he'll have to stop going to play pool in his spare time hehe
A read a theory yesterday about the two horns, one to control the dragons and one to bring the wall down. I enjoyed reading it I'll try and find it.
Links up the many faced god and the whitewalkers.
