Most of Martin's characters are quite easy to categorise into traditional fantasy alignments, with only a few being "grey". The show makes this categorisation even easier because you do not get the same character depth as you do with the books...
I disagree. For me most are grounded four dimensional characters that have real lives and motives, this stems from the basic tenet that George loves, 'the heart in conflict with itself. They choose their paths depending on their experience and mostly to defend their family, in a world built on feudalism. Ramsay and Joffreey stand out for me as characters that have little or no redeeming features.

I am not saying they are unrealistic, just that most are quite easy to categorise into good and bad (more so in the TV show). Joffrey/Ramsay/Roose/Walder/Tywin/Cersie/The Mountain are easy to hate (although with Cersie in the books we get a good insight into her motives and reasons).

It's a bit easier in the show, because we don't have their thoughts. It's not easy to categorise them for myself. I find it easy to dislike Joffreey, Ramsay and the Mountain because they're psychopaths.
The Hounds speech on humanity covers this well.

I wonder if the Dothraki army is going to be the 'Targ' army thats already in Westeros. Though that does get rid of the other Targ that has more right to the throne than Dany

Though will Dany be happy to let him have it after all the st thats gone down with her ruling elsewhere?

I think its the Dothraki rider that went off in one of the directions when Dany was wondering around after she came out of the fire.

What i meant was, i wonder if theyll get rid of Jon Connington and his ready made army and just go with this new Dothraki mob.

I expect this has been discussed, but from the casting news...

"Legendary Fighter: A man in his thirties or forties who is a great swordsman and a paragon of knighthood. He carries a hugely famous sword on his back. The show is seeking a very impressive swordsman for the role- the best in Europe, for a week of filming fight scenes for a season 6 role. His ethnicity/race isn’t specified, unlike many other roles."

So... Arthur Dayne, right? Which must mean that there is a Tower of Joy flashback. And considering Ned is dead I am guessing either Bran finds this out somehow from the In-tree-net, or we meet Howland Reed who tells the tale.

And if the Tower of Joy is important enough to include in the show now, maybe it's because they are going to reveal R+L=J?

The Tower of Joy is one of the most amazing book scenes.

Given they have already looking to cast small boys for another scene. I think they will have some extended flashbacks at the start of season 6. Finally properly setting up L+R=J

HEMA?

Trying to think who else that could be if it's not a flash back. Guess it could be someone totally new

Speculation suggests the High Sparrow if Howland Reed...

Though if they do so many flashbacks would kinda suggest that theres not much material to go with moving on/theyve run out of ideas (bit like GRRM)

I swordfight occasionally, I've got a few mates who are top level wizards, they are like Jaime Lannister.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_European_...

All of that 'scene' are excited about getting into GoT and smashing st up.
I have a feeling that the character mentioned is Dayne...and if it is a ToJ scene, then they could use the also-rans as the other Kingsguard and Ned and that...just a thought.
The Volantis doorman from this year is a friend, he is a top level fighter, but those skills weren't used.
