I must admit to an addiction to Ben Hopes.

Might be worth a look - Brilliant for Kindles because the chapters are nice and short

Same sort of brain-out thriller, though.

I think I have mentioned it in a different thread, but if you like Reacher, the new David Baldacci character, John Puller will suit many.

Try Stephen Leather. He has a series with the caracter Spider Shepherd but also has many other stand alone thrillers.

Sorry for the ancient bump - I've now read all the Elvis Cole novels too. Good recommendation, I really enjoyed them.

I read an interview with Lee Child where he refers to them as the masters. Detective stories and not as superheroish as Jack Reacher but very readable. I've read 3 of them and plan on working through more.
