It should be Liam Neeson.
Agreed!
Why? Whilst Cruise is dark and short, I don't recall Reacher ever being described as Irish, either! biggrin

Whatever else you think of Neeson, he's never ever anything but that!

Liev Schreiber

I'd vote for the above to be an option for Jack Reacher - also Sean Bean

Also a young Lenny McLean.

I've read them all, not in specific order - or that is, at the point I read all the earlier ones they were in no specific order, then I've read the newer ones as they were released. I vaguely recall one where he was still an MP, but I might be confusing that with another writer / character. I guess the whole 'wandering nomad' thing generally eliminates a lot of the continuity that you might otherwise see in a series like this.

Trouble is, I read so much random stuff that I couldn't place a plot to a specific book any more.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, IMHO would make a decent Reacher.

I do my best.

ETA - it was 'The Enemy', if the synopsis on Wikipedia is anything to go by.

I'd read them in the order they were published. The are enjoyable but get a bit formulaic.

Any reader fan should also try Matt Hilton's joe hunter series very similar stuff, just as enjoyable.

Good call IMHO. Mr Cruise just isn't legit in my thoughts. Currently reading the latest one, Don't Look/Turn Back or similar?
