Forums for new authors?

Morning all.
I'm currently only working part time, (chauffeuring/driving) until hopefully the right full time job comes along.
I've finally decided to make a proper start and am attempting to write my first ever book. As a complete novice I have endless questions spinning around in my head, how many chapters? Too many or not enough words per chapter? Should I finish my first draft completely or just a few chapters before I start putting it out there? Moral issues? Legal issues? And many, many more :0
Does anyone know of any authors/book related type forums that could be helpful to me for what lies ahead?

Hello Roy, no real updates. Sent my 1st attempt at a chapter off as requested but not heard anything back.
Think I will write the book as close to the truth as I can, I'm just wrestling with my mind on quite what content can and can't go in, depending on the impact it could have on people.
There are legal issues also that I'm thinking about? But I guess I get it down on paper, and if there is any interest in the book I'm sure I will be put right on these issues.
Sorry if that seems a bit vague.
