Atheist/Anti-Religion Books - Any suggestions?

I've read The God Delusion and a couple of others, anyone got any favourites or good suggestions?

Top suggestion - and follow it up with every religious text you can find. Atheism is about finding a rational alternative to religion, but if in discussion you just blindly recite things you read in a book, you haven't really found that much of a different path.

This, I got a few chapters into the Old Testament and after laughing my tits off at the hilarity of it all put it down and concluded that most God botherer's are a bit mental.

Thanks for the suggestions but in the case of the bible, well, I went to a church school in my 5-11 years so know most of what's in it already.

If anyone's interested the Marshall Brain of 'how things work' fame has a (newish) book out called How "God" Works which I can recommend. He approaches the subject from a fresh perspective.

Bertrand Russell, "Why I Am Not A Christian"? It's aged better than you might expect and early editions are pretty cheap to pick up on Abe Books.

I suggest 'The Portable Atheist' which is edited by Christopher Hitchens. Some great stuff, and the forward by Hitchens himself is pure gold.
