No need mate.

From my humble opinion I guess it must be a bit like meeting Neil Armstrong.

No wonder the guy is sitting with his head below the horizon, wouldn't you?

I still reckon he's got a ponchant for burberry/tartan hence the lack of a public statement. Curses to all you Chav hating PHers, just look what you've done.

ROTFL!

Can you please tell me how Chav is pronounced? I was not around this one entered in the common vocabulary of Blighty. Chav as in Ch for cheese chav?

He may have a Mclaren F1 - Lovely, but at the end of the day he's a person same as anyone else here and I think this is a big build up here for nothing to be honest.

Give it a rest Mungo. You're the only one banging on about it - everyone else just wants to hear about the car.

Besides, what's McLaren ever done for us?

In association with Autocar produced a cracking free book on the F1 road car which I've since managed to lose

I still have that book - wonder if it's worth anything

Well,
I have been away -( Offline since last thursday) so it's perfectly concievable that this chap could have been away for that period of time - it's just taken me 30 mins to read this thread. Maybe he is going to create a little news story to give to ted to post up and is going answer as many questions as possible that have appeared in this thread. Anyway I'm sure we will see some news sometime soon. Also one might think that if he owns this sort of exotica then he might have quite a busy job to do, and therefore not be able to spend hours on the internet...

I too look forward to reading about the car and hearing details of ownership... and just wish I could own one as it is I might have to sell my car soon.

I am very interested in McLaren F1's but I think the poor guy who owns it has been built up before he's even had a chance to post purely on the basis of the car he owns.

I don't know the "poor guy" from Adam but he has taken the time to answer questions he did not need to for the benefit of others, fair play to him.
As I doubt very much I will ever be in a position to even sit in one I am more than happy to read on with interest.
