Who's going to Goodwood?

What's the parking like for visitors? If it's wet, is it likely to turn into a ploughed field? (Rear wheel drive and all that...hope they've got a few tractors handy...)

I'll be there on Friday, TVR Tamora. I have a "Grandstand Roaming" ticket so should be able to find some hiding place from the rain.

It's the first time I've been, so were is the best place to sit ?

I'l be there on Saturday (S2). First time at the event and really looking forward to it. Friends also going on the Sunday but I'll be at the GP at Donington instead and had been advised to avoid the Sunday as its just too mental for people ect etc...

Loads of parking for visitors, but it is in a field. I remember taking home most of Goodwood's glorious mud from the 2000 Revival Meeting

Blimey not only do you live down the road but we certainly work for the same co, seen your new toy in the works on Fridays, keep meaning to pop in for a chat.
I'm going on Saturday as Fridays a non starter and Sundays can be a bit busy.

Harry - Wondered who the V8S belonged to. Nice car. Thought at first Graham G had finally upgraded from his S2, but he was forced to admit it wasn't his. Its a small world, but not that small cos although we work for the same co, I'm based on a site 450 miles away at the moment and only visit Woolston occasionally . Its the best motoring event in the calender in my opinion. Ferrari F1 are going to be there this year apparently too.
