not the unreliability that worries (as you've said, with decent maintainance thay can be fine), but the appalling fuel economy...

and an MX6 is 1) nowhere near as beautiful 2) nowhere near as focussed 3) not even rwd! 4) lacking the all-aluminium suspension, best road-car brakes of it's time, legendary handling etc etc... let alone the ~260bhp

so no, not really like an MX6
