ha ha crazy...
Do you think there's ever a point with people like Charlie where they step back and think 'Nah, maybe that's an idea too far...' or do you reckon that part of their brains is just missing?
If it is, I'm glad, the world is so much better for people like him!

I was having a few beers with Charlie on Saturday night, and one thing lead to another, and well.. you know what its like, so anyway, now he's putting a couple of turbos in too.
Sounds great,I trust you are aiming for 1002bhp,[for obvious Veyron reasons]...
Regards Mark.
Charlie made them himself. They're fine as it is, they're built to take pressure and because its slow revving, the gas is going to flow really slowly anyway. We might have to fettle the stub, but that should be it. The cold air will have to come from inlets at the top of the bonnet, with ally boxes, because the temp under there is going to be roasting.
The quality of the graphics is none too hot (.. sorry, don't get these computer things), but it still sounds ok I guess. This was shot last weekend, when we took it out and test ran it on propane prior to final mapping. The sound quality doesn't do it justice, it's as much a pressure thing, as it is sheer volume. Perhaps we should have taken the headers off?
Charlie has designed his own manifolds, the old one's contracted too quickly afterwards and sheered their bolts. The noise the engine makes after even the shortest of runs has to be heard to be believed. Its getting a Lifeline Fire System in this month, a decent battery from Powervamp and work is starting on the twin 5' exhausts sticking out the side. Carbon Fibre would be good, but wouldn't be able to take the heat, unless anyone can advise differently? Twin turbo's are inbound but the Nitrous set up has got no further.
It'll be on the mag stand at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, when it'll be run up, so come along and say hello. There should be a better quality video going onto PHTV soon, but hey, why wait?
