I knew a guy that ran a Mark 1 tranny fire support vehicle as a rally support vehicle.

They rallied a Lotus Sunbeam and had Kent Rally Brigade down the side of the van, which still wore most of it's rather faded livery

I like your new project. A lot.

Transit is barking, you need to keep it looking standard and glue some Mcdonalds wrappers to the dash top

I think my favourite part of the mag is the occasional spelling mistake

In that case, I'd be really, very, 100% grateful if you didn't draw anyone's attention to the one on this month's cover.

I still chuckle at the thought of driving the old lady you know. She's a beaut, simple. And that rep on his mobile in the car infront on the way back.. hehe.

That's an absolutely stonking Transit. Amazing condition!

Anyway, whaddya mean sail across the Atlantic? Put the right engine in and fly the bugger across! Southampton to Detroit would be the preferred route

Al,

Charlie's car lift - is it an old forklift truck set in concrete?

It is.

As you raise the forks, the roof of the workshop lifts. The whole thing is like Tracey Island.
