Not only does it look ace but apparently they have made the cabin sufficiently large to accomdate adult humans this time around too..!

i love these new generation Marci. they have done well to get the revised version out whilst TVR are still sorting themselves out.

i like the 'arty' exhausts... i hope they make it to production!

My 2p:
- Dash material looks plasticky in the photos (but could be deceptive).
- Rubber seals on the targa are v. ugly (but then I wouldn't have a targa).
- Those side vents are a bit OTT. It's a dramatic shape enough already.
Otherwise, looks very interesting. What were the shutlines like up close?

Lets be fair to Marcos, they have launched (whilst TVR are floundering) an individual car, with :-

- A reliable V8 engine, with lots of bhp.

- A Targa version that is a proper Targa, unlike the half baked TVR T350 T (with it's two dustbin lids stuck on the roof !)

Well overall it looks a great car, barring the 'toothpaste' coloured int on the blue one. Love the exhausts and that rear end (a bit rembling of a Ferrari 575, which aint a bad thing).

Don't know any bumf on the engine apart from it's a V8 but is 50K a bit steep?? I can't afford one anyway so sod it!

I like them - good looking cars, although I agree that the instruments should maybe point a few degrees towards the driver.

The locating points for the targa panels look a bit home-made and unfinished, though, but that's a bit trivial. Best of luck to them.

You really should take a closer look at this car. It's very, very different from a TVR.

If it is anything like the model at last years FOS (and assuming not a vast amount has changed on significant exterior items since then), would completely concur with Ted here. I spent the best part of half an hour with the Marcos team last year and came away very impressed. This from a dyed-in-the-wool Tuscan owner.

The interior shots - the pipe for the roof looks nicely appealing

rest of it looks quite nice mind.

The Marcos looks good, I was expecting something more wilder to compete with the likes of Sagaris, and the chrome bits are too old-skool, but non-the-less its a Marcos, and those SLR'like vents on the side add some character to the coupe.

I concur with the interior points raised above, even the 1995 Cerbera interior was more sculpted than this. Why the old-skool approach?

Hope they do well and sell a few, with all these other new small companies starting up these days, its becoming a little crowded.

I wander what TVR will release to compete with this new V8 in the brit-car market

Not being funny but that's not a Targa roof.

Surely it is a T-Bar roof as seen on the
Nissan 100nx, 300zx and Toyota MR2.

A Targa roof is like that found on the Honda NSX
and some Ferrari 348 / 355's.

Just a small point I know.

Very nice looking machine.

That should get TVR to wake up a little. Could well be stealing a fair few customers with those two.

I like it a lot, and colors used on the show are just a excample! I like the stiching and the seats(al colors can be changed) the seats are lightweight! so thats a good thing, I also like the interior its very different then most cars so special, maybe they are a bit flat but that way they don't shine in your eyes when the sun is on them, and maybe the same dash can be used for LHD versions, just give it a 180degree turn and there you have it? so that save's cost...50K is a lot for most of us, but cheap compared to other cas with the same performance! and those cars are much more rare then a ferrari or lambo or porsche or.....just look at the nice black parts stiching and different soft matterials...

I love that car, its a bit strange, but I like that...because its different just like me and that lovely engine in it the 6.0L LS is a very good choise! TVR should do that too, even better the LS7 7.0L 500>>550hp grrrr yummie the sound can be awesome! and the power enormes...I wish them a lot of luck! and I know it will sell!! for me its the best looking Marcos that I know of...thanks for the pictures Ted

Perhaps it isn't clipped into place properly. I agree, it does look that way though. Just to point out I do like the interior, just think the blue colour a bit naff! Design nice and retro as well!

Shame that it has a T-top and not a true targa roof. If they designed, engineered and crafted their own engines and had a true targa panel then they could have one over on TVR. But they have neither of these....

A T-top is better for strenght of the frontwindow and better torgue/chassis? and safer in case of an accident, you don't have to choose that its an option I believe.
The engine is a very good one, the LS 6.0 chevy and parts and tuning there is plenty of, its also reliable what could not be said about home made tvr engines...
Better put a great engine in it then a home made that goes bang me thinks!
So I welcome that chevy...in the futere they maybe also offer the LS7 Z06 engine in it! halleluja I will say then
