Revving a V8 that big . . . . to 7k . . . . must be over-awesome.

Lifting yer leftfoot . . . . at 7k . . . . with 1st engaged . . . must take all the control and more, to take off . . . and set a time as mentioned in the article.

I can fully understand mechanics doing 360s within 200 yards . . . trying out da 700 horse Cobra.

I can only hope, and pray I won't do the same thing . . . in the Sagaris this evening . . .

Lovely car but that bonnet scoop ruins it for me.
yes If you have to wreck a car's lines for more acceleration why bother? It's Chav time by another route.

Here Here!!

I used to have a cobra, not with this sort of power but at least it looked the part and more importantly correct, that looks just plain poo!

There really is no pleasing some people. rolleyes A clearly loony company come up with a great car with this kind of crazy performance and some people, on this, a petrolhead website, still bloody moan instead of celebrating it for what it is - a crazy, crazy super-fast car that must be mental fun to drive. Personally I applaud it and would love one for the weekend even if it doesn't go round corners! hehe

I think it's for practical considerations rather than aesthetic ones, ingesting a medium sized dog might affect your 0 to mach 3 performance I suppose

After a while it becomes a Weidneck rather than a Weineck, because through driving it you must eventually develop massive neck muscles to prevent it from tearing your head off when hit the loud pedal.

I think "chav" must be the most overused word on pistonheads, is it possible for anything to not be chav?

Owned a 65 AC Cobra "289" it was an Original not a kit.The most fun car I ever drove.IT WAS QUICK.I can only imagine what it's like to drive this Monster. As for the scoop,I could live with it for that kind of performance. It does take away from the Cobras sleek lines though.I think it's Crazy and way over the top...If I could I'd buy it in a heartbeat...I Love It

0-187mph in 10 seconds etc is impressive but let's see it on the M25 at 6pm for an hour of nose to tail stop / start. If it doesn't blow up and the driver's leg doesn't fall off from what I imagine must be a pretty fierce clutch, then it's a proper car.

Wonder what it's like pulling away in the wet?

What an utterly devastating piece of kit bow

That thing must be an epic experience to drive!

Oh and why am I not surprised that some individuals have managed to actually decry this piece of automotive insanity, I mean we're only on PistonHeads (!)

who gives a sh*t about the M25 in rush hour? what does that have to do with anything.

Can some people not appreciate this for what it is, a huge v-sign to everything PC is this world! its superb, absolutely awesome and i for one would sell my kidney/granny/sister to own one.

Oh and i have to agree, Ive never heard the word 'chav' used as much to describe something that someone doesnt like, as much as i have on this forum...
