I'd recommend it particularly to people who aren't good with computers / consumer electronics, once it is installed you only have to press one button to do everything.

It should suit me then as an IT consultant

actually it does... I've had mine for about 18 months and wouldnt be without it.

I have it with stolen vehicle tracker and scamera db

the best bit is being able to press the button and get someone at the other end find the place for you with a partial address.

and even when there is no alternate adress knowing there is a jam ahead and how ling its for is great.

Can i retrofit the display to my unit, and do i need to get someone to fit it or can i do it myself

AFAIK you can retrofit it, don't know about installation, will have a look at work tomorrow.

I have a nephew that supplies a fits car security systems. Can any one supply via e-mail step by step installation instructions for the Traffic Master Smart Nav system. into a October 2004 reg Rover75 cdti automatic tourer. From my nephews experience sometimes installations can be quirky with exspensive downloads required from either the manufacturer or the kit supplier is anything of this kind required with this system, or is installation straight forward for a competant engineer though be it they have never fitted one of these systems.Any help would be appreciated as a disabled driver, Having had a demo car with the system fitted I found it so valuable, and useful.Have searched the web for instructions but nothing found.
